We enjoyed a lovely, festive Mexican lunch at Chuy's at the Summit on Monday, April 18. Some of us shopped before lunch and many left to spend the afternoon shopping. Hope more of you can join us in May on the 18th when we will go to Thai Emerald at the corner of Hwy 280 and 119. More details to come.
Ladies' Luncheon Friday, March 18 Three Earred RabbitSeven ladies enjoyed lunch today here in Trussville at The Three Earred Rabbit! We were happy to have Zolinda Cochran with us for the first time! Also present to taste the sampling of desserts that one of the ladies there was so gracious to serve us was Marsha Henderson, Nancy Dorr, Shelia Lowery, Carol Rogers, Barbara Tharp and Jane Beasley. We were having such a good time that one of us (I won't call my name) forgot to get out the camera to make our picture! The last thing I thought before I left home was to remember the camera. Thanks very much to Nancy Dorr for making our reservations for today. Next month will be on Monday, April 18th at Chuy's at the Summit. That will be arranged by Shelia Lowery. Ladies, make your plans to join us in April!
Eleven ladies enjoyed a festive lunch at The Chocolate Biscuit on Friday, December 17. We were filled with the Christmas spirit and enjoyed a great time of fun, food, and fellowship. Of course, what would be lunch with a group of ladies without shopping? A few went to Southern Magnolia Gifts before leaving and the ornaments and nativity set pictured were purchased by Sheila. Ann Havicus was the lucky winner of the door prize provided by Jane Beasley. The January luncheon will be Tuesday, January 18.
NOVEMBER LADIES' LUNCHEON
The monthly ladies luncheon was Thursday, November 18th, at Oscar's in The Birmingham Museum of Art. Jane Beasley, Jane Zobrosky, Barbara Tharp, and Carol Rogers had a wonderful lunch.
Meeting for lunch at Bella in the Village at Lee Branch today were 7 of our ladies. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and then browsed in a lovely little shop close by.
Glynda Bailey picked the smiley face from the bag to take home the door prize!

We are talking now about where we would like to go in December for our Christmas luncheon. Several locations are being checked on. That date and location will be announced after the November lunch.
September Ladies' Luncheon
Eight ladies had a lovely lunch at Dodiyós at Soho in Homewood. Deb Aly was the lucky person to get a hanging cosmetic bag as the door prize. After a great salad and entrée we shared a dessert of bread pudding.
Seven ladies enjoyed a delightful lunch at The Ruby Radish Tearoom in Remlap on August 18. Sheila Lowery provided the door prize and then drew the smiley face from the bag to take it home with her! We got so involved in conversation that we did not do an “ice breaker” this month.
This month’s luncheon will be Wednesday, September 22, at Dodiyós in Homewood's Soho Square.
Annual Barbeque Aug 13, 2011
We had 37 enjoy the delicious meal! Thanks Donny and Bonnie for having us and all the wonderful side dishes you all brought! We enjoyed having Mr. Henderson, Sallye's dad with us as well as our Indiana friends, Mike and Denise Hobbs!
Under the leadership of Cathey Hall, our class prepared dinner for 30 fire fighters and police officers at the Main Fire Station on Sunday afternoon, July 18, 2010. Our thanks to Cathey for the work she put into this and for all who contributed to make this such a success.
All of them would not eat at once and were to come by as they could. We met with approximately 12 of the fire fighters and would have stayed a little longer but they had to respond to a call so we all had to rush out of the station! We were thankful to have about 26 there to express our thanks to them and in a blessing Jim Summers asked for their protection as they serve our community.
We were happy to participate in Operation "Go" and do thank God for the service providers in our community.
There were 10 ladies who enjoyed lunch on July 15th, 2010 at The Gardens Cafe at The Birmingham Botanical Gardens. We missed those of you who weren't able to be with us today.
As if we needed an "ice breaker" we each listed on a small piece of paper the first paying job that we ever had and then we guessed the person we thought went with the job. Some were very interesting!
Nancy Dorr brought the Door Prize today and Dianne Bonner was the lucky one to draw the smiley face from the bag to take it home!
Make your plans now to be with us on Wednesday, August 18th, when we will journey to The Ruby Radish Tearoom in Remlap. Nancy Dorr will be making the plans for this lunch for us.
The 6 ladies who gathered for lunch today, June 18th, had a lovely time at The TownHouse Tea Shoppe in Mt. Laurel! We appreciate Wanda Campbell making the arrangements for us and for having a special guest join us. It was Carolyn Horne!! We all thought that recently retired Carolyn was lounging on the beach but she came home and talked with Wanda about lunch today without any others of us knowing it. This was the first luncheon Wanda or Carolyn had either one been able to attend.
The door prize today was brought by Jane Zobrosky and the smiley face was pulled from the bag by Carolyn Horne. She comes home from the beach, surprises us for lunch and gets the door prize, too! I'm sure she's glad she came today!
We missed all our other ladies who weren't able to join us today. You really missed a special place! Since the 18th of July is on a Sunday, we chose to meet on Thursday, July 15th. If all goes as planned, Shelia Lowery will make arrangements for us to have lunch at Kathy G's at The Botanical Gardens. Hope more of you are able to be with us then. Mark you calendars!

Nancy Dorr picked the paper with the smiley face so she took home the door prize today.
Plan to join us in June on Friday the 18th. We'll try again to see if we can go to the new tea room in Mt. Laurel. I'm really looking forward to that when Wanda is able to arrange it for us!
Mudtown Eat & Drink in Cahaba Heights was where 9 of our ladies gathered for lunch on April 15th. We had a good time passing around pictures we each brought that were made before we were school age and having everyone guess who it was!
Barbara Tharp took home the door prize today because she pulled out the slip of paper with the smiley face!
Note the date for May!! It will be back to our original date of the 18th and that is a Tuesday. Our plans for Mt. Laurel had to be postponed so we will work out a date the tea room is open another time. The location for May 18th will be Brio's at Brookwood Mall. Hope to see you that day!
Today, March 18th, the ladies met at Leonardo's on Rocky Ridge Road for our monthly luncheon. There were 11 present and we had a great time of fellowship and good food! Most of us left there with carry-out boxes because the servings were so large!
