B Bryant still recouperating from foot surgery. Back home after week with her parents while Pete out of town on business. Sees Dr. tom. 3/29.

Prayer Requests:
Gerald and Brenda have both been under the weather. They go to MDA today (3/28) for Gerald to be checked and possibly treated with Gamma Knife. Pray - Pray -Pray !!
Ashton, grandson of the Mayor of Margaret, born pre-mature and having breathing problems. Jim and Diane S met granddad and told him we'd be praying.

Clay Gilley - April 30th is date for those interested in donating blood or being tested as possible Bone Marrow donor for Clay or a little girl named MaeLee from Pell City who also has Aplastic Anemia. Quite a few grandbabies due among our group over the coming months! Pray for them and their expectant parents!

Sunday, March 13th

I enjoyed being back in Sunday School this morning after being out for 3 weeks. I got to meet some visitors who have been there more than I have lately! Nice to meet you Zolinda and Mike and I hope you come back!

Praises today were:
Cherie B is all finished with her chemo and radiation treatments. She's been back to work for a little while.
Donnie B, Clif's brother, is doing well after a lung transplant several months ago.
Denise H, Beasley's friend, doesn't need back surgery now after all.
We voted to donate to the fund for an American Flag and a Christian Flag to be erected near the new fountain our front of the church.
Larry and Lynn Gilbreath are doing well.
Beasleys have friends in Hawaii and Japan who were all safe this week. It's a high school friend in Japan who is a Southern Baptist Missionary.

Brenda B had her foot surgery on Wednesday and it was a little more extensive than she thought it was going to be. Having a little trouble getting around much yet.

Our class started a new unit on Confident Living in Difficult Times today. The scripture was 1 Peter 1: 1-12. When suffering comes, you have resources to draw on: truth, godly people, and God Himself. Our visitors today were Darold and Drucilla Beasley.
