THE INN AT CHRISTMAS PLACE (1-888-Holy Night) Brenda has put 15 rooms on hold for the nights of Feb. 2-3 and 4. Hope you can join us this year! Rooms will be released about Jan. 1st so call now to get our reduced rate of $94 per night. This is always a fun time for us!

BIRTHDAY NIGHT in January will be changed to TUESDAY the 10th (I'm calling Munoz this week to make sure this is ok.) because of a pretty big football game on that Monday the 9th. Our teams must do pretty well because we've had to do this 3 years in a row! Brenda Self will be bringing the dessert that night.

We HELPED with $800.00 in items from the Living Trees at church this season for children in our area. We talked in class about donating around $800 with Don seeing how much was needed and Blake said it was about $1,400 and someone donated $600 and he needed $800. Isn't God good!!! We also gave $1,000 to Stacy J and her family that the Bonners had come in contact with. The Eiland family, young missionaries we'd had visit the class, received a Love Gift of $500 from us also. Thank you for your generosity to help others! We give as we have been blessed by God!

CHRISTMAS DAY there will only be one worship service at 10AM.

NEW YEAR'S DAY will be a regular schedule. We will be having breakfast that morning. Please let Barbara Tharp know if you will be bringing a dish or if you don't get her, bring it on! Come a little early if you can. We'll have milk and juices to go along with the coffee that's always in the hall. Thanks to Donny and Barbara and Brenda S who brought goodies this morning. (We won't mention that the Beasley's forgot the OJ.)

GOD LOVETH A CHEERFUL GIVER!

A Christmas Prayer
Lord as I celebrate the birth of Jesus, keep me mindful that Christmas is a time for thanksgiving and prayer. I pray to You Father because You desire it and because I need it. Prayer not only changes things; it also changes me. Make me a prayerful Christian, Lord and let me turn every aspect of my life over to You.
