Determine to Be Generous ...

Scripture: Luke 19:1-10, II Corinthians 8:3-4, 1 John 3:16-18

Today we completed our series of lessons on putting possessions in perspective. We looked at our reasons for being generous. Our generosity is a result of God's love and grace toward us. Our charitable actions are the best expression of God's love in our life and the true fulfillment of the command Love thy neighbor as thyself.

We thank Ben for the monthly calendars he provides for us each month! That's a lot of birthdays and anniversaries for him to keep up and he's done a great job for I couldn't tell you how many years! Thank you Ben!!

Ladies Luncheon
will be on Monday June 18th and Shelia L will tell us where.

Zo told us this morning that there is a need in the location she went to in Nicaragua for a child's wheelchair and for a used laptop. She mentioned that a group going back on a mission trip in July would be able to take the laptop but I don't know how the wheelchair would get there. Please let her know if you know of the availability of either. Don brought up that the class could help out on this.

The wages of sin have never been reduced.

Love expresses its self in concrete actions.

Your mission field is the next unsaved person you meet.

There are two times to keep your mouth shut. When you are swimming and when you are angry.
