The series of lessons we began yesterday is entitled Freedom - Make it Personal.

Prayer Requests:
Gerald and Brenda - Today (Monday) he's declining more and more. Planning ahead, Brenda would like all men of the class to serve as Pallbearers. She can think of nothing sweeter than his Sunday School friends accompanying Gerald to his grave as he's gone to his eternal home.

Our service men and women - now and in the past.

Praises:
We welcome Roy and Lisa Long as new SS class members!! Many of us already known them but if you don't, please introduce yourself to them and get to know them.
Ashley Lybrand is home from the hospital and we pray little Blair is released in a day or so. They are Steve and Carol's daughter and new granddaughter.
Cochrans have joined the church through a class we offer and they are expecting a second grandson! Two new ones coming and they already have one.
We have quite a list of expected grandbabies and are praying for all the families!
We pray for our Country, it's leadership and for our service people!
Many exciting things have and are happening connected with Zolinda's recent mission trip to Nicaragua! A wheelchair for the little boy is soon to be on it's way flown free by Southwest!
More than the one requested laptop has been provided and they'll soon make their way over.
A young man there almost ready for college might have the opportunity for an international program through Troy State because of a connection with Zo's niece who does or did attend there. Bowls have been provided so children won't have to share with one not being able to eat until another has finished meal. So many wonderful things Zo shared and I probably forgot something. Please continue to pray for the work there!

We we blessed to be able to go outside after our worship service for the dedication of the new flags that were placed near the fountain in front of the new Preschool Building. The donation from our class helped make this possible. There is now an American Flag and a Christian Flag which will be flown proudly there. There were church members there in uniforms of different branches of the service as well as other members who'd proudly served our country. I was not close and may have missed others but I was able to see Mr. Lee Dreher proudly standing there saluting! Mr. Dreher is a very sweet man and is the father of our own Diane Summers. We are thankful for the service to our country by those past, present and future. God Bless America!

Declare independence from your own self-indulgence and pledge allegiance to your Saviour!

Birthday night will be at Munoz on Monday, July 11th and Jane Z will bring cake. 6:30

Ladies Luncheon in July will be at Bellini's and we have changed the date to TUESDAY, the 19th at 11:30. They were not able to accommodate us on Monday. Jane will send an email next week about this.

Please be in SS next Sunday to support Jimmy Summers as he will be teaching while we are in Florida visiting Mark, Mary, Ellie and Grayson. We ask for your prayers as we travel.
